How much do you charge?

We have sample package prices for weddings, drinks and evening receptions which you can see on the weddings and events page of our website. For other events, parties, special occasions the pricing differs according to what you are looking for. If you'd like us to email you a firm quote and check our availability for your event – please contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Travel costs: All travel within a 30 mile radius of Guildford is included in the price quoted. If your wedding or event is a little further afield, we will normally add a little extra on to cover our travel costs.

 

Can I request a song that isn't on your playlist?

Yes, of course. We're always happy to expand our repertoire and providing a bespoke service to our clients is intrinsic to our ethos. We can learn up to four new songs, free of charge, subject to availability and agreement beforehand.

 

How much performance space do you need?

We're quite compact! We have a small, portable sound system, two microphones and us.

 

Are there any special/technical requirements?

Our only requirement is to be placed near a mains outlet. If we're performing outside on a sunny day (British weather permitting) having a shaded area would be preferable.

 

How much time do you need to set up?

It usually takes us around 30-45 minutes to set up and do a sound check.

 

What time do you normally arrive for an event?

We arrive about an hour before you need us, to allow for set up time & sound checks.  We'll discuss specific timings with you nearer to the event to make sure you're happy with the arrangements depending on performance times etc.

Performance

 

What do you wear?

We usually dress to suit the style of the event. For weddings and black-tie events, we'll be in smart, cocktail dresses. If you want us to wear a particular colour or style of dress, we can discuss this with you. 

 

How long do you play for?

Our standard wedding packages offer 2 x 45 minute sets, this includes a 15 minute break in which time we can provide music on an iPod. We are always happy to play for longer but will need to have this agreed beforehand. 

 

Can you also provide evening entertainment?

The music we provide is often easy-listening, subtle background music which aims to enhance the atmosphere of your event. If this is what you are looking for in terms of evening entertainment, then yes, of course.  For weddings, we can usually sing the first dance and then hand over to your DJ for the rest of the evening.

 

Do I need to provide you with food/drink?

For our standard set, we don't require food to be supplied, but refreshments are always welcome! If the booking does extend into the evening, a light meal or sandwiches would be greatly appreciated!

The Small Print

 

Will I need to make a deposit?

Yes please. Once you have confirmed your booking with us, we ask for a non-refundable 20% deposit of the final fee.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation within one month of the performance date incurs a 50% cancellation fee of the price quoted. Cancellation within the week of the performance date incurs 100% cancellation fee.
